Location | UC Santa Barbara, United States |
Organizer | UC Santa Barbara, Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics |
Topics | |
Moire materials offer an unprecedented level of tunability for band structure, symmetry, and topology, creating a rich platform to investigate various phenomena within a unified approach. The conference will focus on pressing theoretical questions in moire materials, such as the origin of superconductivity, the nature of correlated states, and the role of topology, as well as experimental challenges and novel techniques. Furthermore, the conference aims to investigate emerging tunable platforms, including twisted superconductors, topological surface states, quasi-periodic moire systems, and twisted magnetic materials. |
